LMB = Goddess
Aug. 22nd, 2004 01:00 amI recced the Vorkosigan series to someone on the TrekBBS tonight, and of course, that meant I had to go and reread parts of ACC--specifically, the dinner party chapter and the, er, fallout--for, uh, "research." Yeah.
The Cordelia in my mind is officially played by Francesca Hunt now. It's so perfect. And you know what? If things keep on as they are, Sheppard and Weir are so gonna turn into Cordelia and Aral. They've got the snark, they've got the telepathic eye conversations, and they're already babysitting a bunch of high-strung types--not the same profession as Miles, but I'm sure more than a few of them are similar in personality and levels of neuroticness. Okay, John and Elizabeth aren't not quite as snarky as the Vorkosigans, and Lizzie isn't as evil as Cordelia, but the resemblance is still enough for me to giggle at.
(No idea what I'm talking about? Hie thee to a bookstore or library and pick up a copy of Cordelia's Honor (it might also be found as two separate books, Shards of Honor and Barrayar), by Lois McMaster Bujold. Then buy all the rest of the books, 'cause you'll want them. Promise.)

*mutters* Gah. Of course, this will entail generous re-reading of the books, since I want to be sure of my characterizations... ;)
