So pretty!

Kohl's is having a giant clearance sale, so of course I went...and bought more dresses. Because I wear them so often, yo. But they're pretty, and I will take pictures soon and put them up here. If I ever do ballroom comps again, I think the blue one will become my Latin dress and the black one my Standard dress, assuming it moves as well as I think it will. And they both look good for just wearing to either big formal things like Phling or to smaller dances like the ones ballroom throws.

Now, if I only had some decent dressy shoes to go with them. (Ballroom shoes look great 'cause they're almost my skin tone and will go with anything, but you can't exactly wear them anywhere but on carpet or the dance floor...)

I kept reading that as "Philing" as in "Doing The Phil!" I couldn't figure out how dancing while covering your drink could be considered formal.

It's the result of someone trying to be cute. Sigh. Philander himself would kill us all if he knew what went on at and after the party named after him. He built the school in the middle of nowhere specifically so that the boys attending the seminary wouldn't ever see girls without serious travel. Uh, yeah.
