Apr. 8th, 2003 11:40 pmOh, and I've worked out my schedule for next semester. It looks kinda ghastly.
MWF:
10:10 - 11:00: History of the South
12:10 - 1:00: Chamber Singers???
Tues/Thurs:
9:40 - 11:00: 20th Century Irish Literature (300-level! Wheeee!)
12:10 - 1:00: Chamber Singers???
1:10 - 2:30: Intro Poetry Writing
2:40 - 4:00: Biology in Science Fiction
Yeah. Short attention span. Three 1.5 hour classes right after the other. This could be very, very bad.
Also not sure if I'm doin' this Chamber Singers thing--hence, the question marks after it. I think I'd rather just do Community Choir (which only meets from 7:30 to 9:45 PM on Wednesdays, doesn't tour, doesn't sing at various school functions, etc.), but I've been told by someone that if I did, I couldn't get my fine arts distribution requirement done through music. Haven't heard that from anyone in the music department, though, so I'll have to go ask Doc Locke about this tomorrow.
Also, Julianne pointed out that if I'm going to keep on taking history classes after I've got the social science distribution req. out of the way, I might as well go for the double major. To which I replied that doing Honors English and tacking on a History major would be suicide. Why don't these people have a History minor?!?!
