Fortune-telling

We had fortune cookies at lunch today. My fortune:

"There's a good chance of a romantic encounter soon."

BWAH! *bursts into laughter* *rolls on floor cackling hysterically*

*wipes tears away* Ohhhh, that's funny. *snort* Really. As far as my personal life goes, I'm still the Anti-Hormone. I'm the future Miss Marple. I'm looking forward to becoming a spinster.

And in other news, Bourne and Kraatz are splitting up after finishing tour committments December. I'm shocked. I don't even like their skating all that much, but I figured they'd be skating together for several more years. Whoa.

*BOUNCE* (More study abroad stuff)

I'm lurking around all the websites of the various student organizations at Exter. Not only do they have a Creative Writing Society, they have a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Society with a regular writing night every week, and which also hosts a mini-con every year. There's both a ballroom and a folkdancing club, and there's an open-to-all choir with a director who sounds a lot like Doc Locke. And there's a badminton team. Hee.

There are definite benefits to a school with 10,000 students instead of 1600. Can I go now? Pleeeeeeease???

ETA: They have a trampolining club. That goes to competitions. It kind of looks like gymnastics on crack, in a vague way. Of course, at the moment I'm so bouncy that I really ought to try it out... ;)
