icepixie | *BOUNCE* (More study abroad stuff)

I'm lurking around all the websites of the various student organizations at Exter. Not only do they have a Creative Writing Society, they have a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Society with a regular writing night every week, and which also hosts a mini-con every year. There's both a ballroom and a folkdancing club, and there's an open-to-all choir with a director who sounds a lot like Doc Locke. And there's a badminton team. Hee.

There are definite benefits to a school with 10,000 students instead of 1600. Can I go now? Pleeeeeeease???

*bounces some more*

ETA: They have a trampolining club. That goes to competitions. It kind of looks like gymnastics on crack, in a vague way. Of course, at the moment I'm so bouncy that I really ought to try it out... ;)

My cousin was in the Edinburgh Uni trampoline club. They teach you to bounce up and do a somersault and stuff like that, he loved it!

I'd like to try it once. I'm not really much for flipping around in the air (tumbling class at age seven was...not so good), but I remember liking to just jump up and down on trampolines when I was younger. :)
