Random question. Does anyone else write papers single-spaced before double-spacing them to turn them in? I appear to be the one person at Kenyon who does this. It can't be that odd, though; being able to see more of what you've written before without having to scroll back is a definite advantage, as is the psychological benefit of "yeah, I only have to have five pages instead of ten." It's a good thing, really.

nickless's school system, Kenyon is about to be in serious violation of public health laws if this plague keeps up much longer. Well, y'know, if we were a public high/middle/grade school. I'd estimate that over half the student body is sick with something, and about a third of the students have the flu, including yours truly (though I'm still recovering nicely, hooray). Those may be high estimates, but a lot of people here are sick. More than usual for finals time. I'm surprised the entire campus isn't under quarantine or something...

tarzanic already heard about this in my last e-mail to her, but I feel the desperate need to fic a meeting between Bill Scully & fam and Mark Carter & fam, since they both live in San Diego. Granted, we know next to nothing about Mark, but can't you just see them having a grand old time commiserating about the emotional instablilty, terrible senses of humor, and general horribleness of the not-quite-SOs of their respective sisters?
I so want to fic this.
But I'm holding out until after my history exam Thursday morning. I am, I am, I am.
However, since I have four whole (double-spaced) pages on my paper, I'm taking a break for a while and revising my Xmas fic. It might even get posted this weekend. Shocking, that. ;)
(Um, yeah. Remember those letters that were hanging around on Tuesday? They're baaaaack...)
