I made my history final cry like a baby. For the essay, worth 75%, I got to spend almost a third of it talking about court-ordered bussing and the Nashville public school system. Mmmm. Mwahaha.

And something I forgot to mention last night:

Am home. Am very sleepy. Am caught up on the skating I recorded over the past 2.5 weeks. (Which was all of two pro shows, 'cause I can't deal with this Code of Points business goin' on in the eligible world. Plus without Marina and Gwendal, there's just no point. Sigh.)

- Renee & Gorsha are still adorable as all get-out. Although I wish they'd quit doing "new" programs that are merely mixtures of choreography from their old ones. It's bad when you can name the previous program that every single move came from. (Of course, this possibly says more about me than it does about them. I'm not obssessed! Really!)
- Paul Wylie = God of the Scratch Spin, even after a five year hiatus.
- Scott Smith = Paul Wylie Jr. It's really freaky.
- Daria Grinkova should not be twelve. I refuse to believe that ten years have gone by since she was two. There's just no way that that much time has passed.
- The dancers during Kristi Y's show had on make-up that made them look like KISS. Only female, and very, very lame.
- Brasseur and Eisler still frighten me every time they take the ice. Isabelle really does have no fear whatsoever. I keep expecting to witness a horrible accident involving her head and the ice every time they skate. And so sad that they're retiring after this season! Waaaah! :(
- Music this year, or at least for these two shows, was uniformly horrible. Okay, yeah, the pros generally have this weird attraction to easy listening stuff that falls just this side (the more annoying side) of elevator music with lyrics, but still. It's usually not this bad.
- Whoever took the bleach to Kurt Browning's hair should be shot.
