More tapes today. Found all kinds of things, from Northern Exposure (mmm...symbolism! "An engine is like a heart"/"You messed with my engine?!") to Farscape (LATP III, woo-hoo!) to Invisible Man to more SAJV.

Speaking of which, the plotbunnies are breeding. One of them is even this terrible screw-with-the-characters-and-their-relationships-and-don't-address-the-consequences-muahaha thing. God, I'm turning into Rick Berman. *hiss*

Oh, and because I find them amusing:

It is illegal to shoot any game other than whales from a moving automobile.

Of course, there are plenty more where those came from, including our passed-in-1997 roadkill law. (Want roadkill? It's legal to pick it up, take it home, and eat it here. Mmmm, possum fer supper t'night!)

I'm so special

Hooray! I finished my Off-Campus Studies application essay. It's a page long, single-spaced. Kenyon/Exeter program, here I come!

*waits for obligatory shunning by Ellen, then continues on*

I still have to fill out the short-answer thingies for the self-evaluation (basically "do you think you can survive outside of American culture?"), but the big part is done.

I also accomplished a bit on the ballroom webpage--by which I mean I ran the 200-odd pictures from Purdue and Nationals through my thumbnail program and have put about seven of them on a page and captioned them. Still have all the rest to do. *shudder* Had to look at pics of Disgusting Dance Partner From Another School. All I want to do is wipe that those four dances out of my mind for all eternity. *shudders again*

Although this pic is cute. I call it "JP, Katy, and an Accident Waiting to Happen." *snerk* (JP and Katy are the couple where the girl is in the dark blue dress, so whoever that is, she's not ours. ;))

Finishing up...

I really am a packrat--there's episodes of Jack & Jill on these tapes. Good lord. And old 7 Days--heh, it's the arc where Olga's evil imposter comes and marries Parker in Vegas and then tries to kill everybody. Hee. Oh, and "Post-Modern Prometheus" with "Millennium" right after it. *wallows in M/S shippiness*

Okay, so now all of my 70-odd tapes have some indication of what's on them written on the labels. Rock.

Alias, briefly

1st half: Creeeeepy. Effectively creepy. *shiver*
2nd half: Equal parts "ewww!" and "What the hell?" (it would help if I knew the whole Rambaldi storyline...)
