*rereads the 2.5 pages of her story*
This is reading way more like a movie/TV script than a story. On the one hand, this bodes well for screenwriting next year. On the other hand, this is due in a week and a half.
Sigh.
I've discovered lately that rather a lot of my writing would be better done in script form. Comes from seeing everything as a movie in my head, I suppose. Really, I see everything I ever write about as if it were on a giant TV screen in my mind. I know exactly what the characters look like down to individual freckles on their skin.
Unfortunately, so not helping me now...

And oh, look. Jaye is ten years older than Clarissa was when the show was made circa 1994.
(And no, I'm still not really any further on my story. At the moment, work is looking sort of like this giant tidal wave that's about to swallow me and the entire population of some small country, like Switzerland.)
