School where a quarter of the students are English majors = roughly 100 seniors all taking the test part of their comps on the same day (comps being this evil thing you have to do to graduate; for English majors it's reading twelve or fourteen books outside of class, taking a test on them, and writing a big paper/creative project of your own devising) = lots and lots of loud drunkeness the night after said comps.

It's not really bothering me now, and it especially won't when I close the window right before I go to bed (whenever that may be...), but I just felt like mentioning it.

It got up to almost 75F today. Half the girls, including yours truly, are wearing skirts. Everyone's windows are open, and I just had to open the door to get a cross-current going. It feels so springy.

Too bad it's all going down the tubes come tonight's cold front, but you can't have everything. ;)

I'm in the final tinkering stages of my story. Hallelujah. There's really just two spots that need to be reworked, which hopefully will get done tonight. We'll see.
