Departure and Farewell Update Mania Week continues today! Today's fun facts about the album brought to you as a result of my recent sneak preview:

1. Remember how I said before that there were so many songs in contention for inclusion on the new album that there might be two new releases? Still the plan!

2. January 2013 is also still the plan, but only for one of the releases. The other you may be able to start counting down in terms of weeks. Weeks!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE *runs around screaming and collapses in a happy heap* "WEEKS," SHE SAYS!

...Although I'm really collapsed in more of a bittersweet heap, because with a title like Departure and Farewell and a closing track titled "So Long," not to mention the occasional mention on the band's Facebook page for the past few years about looking forward to new projects, I'm really getting the impression these will be their last albums. WOE. SO MUCH WOE AND GRIEF.

I hope I'm wrong, of course. (Of course, the thought that I'm right might be the only thing keeping me tethered to Earth at the moment.) It would be lovely to be wrong, because there is no music I love better than these folks'.
