When you stop and think, "whoa...that's been here for 1000 years" or something like that, it's exceptionally awesome. And oh-so-photogenic, even in the pouring rain. (Or, well, as pouring as it ever gets in this part of England, apparently. I would call it more of a heavy drizzle, but whatever...)

Well, that part is, anyway. You have to kind of angle your head around and do neck contortions to see it, but...

I guess it's the local Catholic church? Maybe Anglican? I can't really tell the difference just looking at the buildings.

Great pictures. Seem like a nice town, Exeter. I always love how you can feel the history when you're in one of those cathedrals. If you have the chance, try and visit Canterbury (and not just the cathedral), and Westminster Abbey in London.
