Well, I have a second draft now, except it's 35 words over the maximum word count. *sigh* Stupid British system with uber-firm word requirements.

Because I find it amusing, here's a picture of my desk from last night It's got everything I need--computer (mostly out of the shot), Shakespeare bible, one of my many reference books, candy, cup of tea, iPod, bottle of water, and, yes, roast turkey and stuffing-flavored potato chips. I have no idea what is up with these British people and their penchant for meat-flavored potato products. But these were very accurate; it was like a Thanksgiving dinner in my mouth. They were...edible. Don't think I'll be buying any more, but I did finish these.

I can't believe you ate those! I myself have not been brave enough to try a lot of the available flavors here. Such as Lamb and Mint, Roast Chicken, Prawn Cocktail, and Ketchup. Gross sounding, all of them. Also, this country is decidedly lacking in plain tortilla chips. That's apparently too difficult for them.
I swear these people need some serious help.

Well, I'd had chicken chips from Australia before, and I figured these couldn't be worse than that. ;) But I can't even contemplate the Lamb and Mint ones, much less the Prawn Cocktail or, gods forbid, Marmite.

I miss roast chicken, smokey bacon, and beef and onion flavours the most.

Walkers is a fairly decent brand :)

Bacon actually sounds kind of good. Haven't seen it around, though. Hmmm...

Bacon IS good. I remember the Walkers brand had it - in a sort of reddish-purple-brown bag. Seabrooks had it as well, but I think they're a northern/regional brand.

I've been hunting around since you mentioned it...Walkers seems to have everything except that flavor. But we're going in a northerly direction next month, so perhaps I'll find the Seabrooks version up there.
