Well, I meant to get two more acts of Othello read today, but I should know better than to plan work for a holiday, especially when I have to go to some speaker about British TV careers (soooo helpful to me) this afternoon. I'm far more motivated to read holiday-themed Mulder/Scully fics. (For some reason, I associate Thanksgiving and Christmas with sentimental X-Files fanfic. No idea.) Ah, well. Still not taking the Shakespeare bible on the train to London this weekend. They're pretty short acts, I can read 'em Sunday....

So, yes. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone back home! May your turkey be tender, your gravy be good, and your dressing neither too dry nor too moist!

I was planning to watch the Farsape mini again after watching it the first time last weekend, but I see that just isn't going to happen until Xmas break. So, a few ramblings while it's still fairly fresh in my mind:

All right, first thought is, of course, THEY KILLED D'ARGO?! NOOOOOO!!!

Yeah, I was whimpering off in my corner while watching it with the Pez crowd. (Mwahaha, I have so hooked you ALL! Not to mention Whitney's friend Gwin (sp?)!) I...but...they...waaaaah! Although a rebellious little corner of my mind was making noises about how Chiana can now go hunt down Jool again for comfort sex. No, I'm not evil at all.

And while I was so certain that the baby would be a girl (been reading too much Rosefic, I imagine), I'm glad it was a boy and that they named him D'Argo in that incredibly Lion King-esque moment at the end.

What else...oh, yes. Rygel being pregnant after not barfing up the baby chip was a stroke of genius. Beautiful, and pure Farscape. I approve.

Okay, I don't remember as many specifics as I thought I did. (Plus I just got up not too long ago, and I'm not quite all here yet.) But the real point is that wonderful feeling of weirdness that good Farscape leaves you with, and this had it in spades. Yay Farscape!

No she can't. Jool got blown up. Remember? :(

Nah, the missile just knocked out communications. Jool isn't even mostly dead. She's alive and ready to jump Chi. ;)

I'll buy that.

Wait, did you just make a Princess Bride reference in Becca's LJ? Ha!

Yay, you saw it! :D

I know. I miss the big guy. I watched the Premier the weekend after the mini aired while visiting Sarah and we both sniffled a bit at seeing Big D.

But the real point is that wonderful feeling of weirdness that good Farscape leaves you with, and this had it in spades. Yay Farscape!

It was that brilliant, frelled up show we know and love. YAY!
