SG-1 Ramblings

icepixieWatched that "Lowdown" business. Hmmm. Mostly useless, but still mildly entertaining. Teryl Rothery was cracking me up. CJ looks like he would be all kinds of fun to hang around with for a while. Corin/Jonas with longer hair? Mmmm. I like. Lots.
Now, ramblings for SG-1. They're structured like my Farscape ramblings were...not necessarily chronological, not necessarily making sense, and not necessarily about important things in the show.
- Naked!Daniel! Yay!!! *has hormonal moment*
- Awww...no Jonas in the credits. *shrug* Oh, well. I saw him for all of six episodes, so I can't say as I was hugely attached, but he was an interesting guy.
- Sam's hair? So not liking. Looks like she tried to do battle with the business end of a weedwhacker. I really wish she'd go back to S2 hair. S3 or S1 would also be acceptable.
- "Not even me?" Oh, was that a bone thrown to the slashers?
- {{{Jodie}}} Sucks for the S/Ders...
- Is it just me, or did someone have a little too much fun with the contrast filters in this episode? Everyone looks about three shades darker than they usually do.
- *snerk* to the raising hands deal.
- Whoa. Sam's been hanging around Jack way too long, with all the sarcastic comments she's got goin' on.
- Okay, that SafeAuto commercial with the guy "trying on" the bras and underwear? WTF? How does that sell auto insurance, may I ask?
- The locker room scene? Am I just in a really slashy mood tonight, or was that...really slashy? I don't even like Jack/Daniel slash and I was seeing the overtones! Yeesh!
- Whoa. Really. Cool. Airplane. (Lemme guess, we've seen this before and I just missed it. Still damn cool, though.)
- Dude, Anubis? Dead ringer for Terry Pratchett's Death, don't you think? I can't help making the association! It's that cloak!
- Temper, temper.
- Bwah! Joans is funny.
- Ooooh...cool shot of the ship over Kelowna. Mommy, when I grow up can I make things look like *that*? (Am having flirtations with the idea of working on special effects for TV/movies. Hmmm.)
- For some odd reasons, the Kelownans make me think of Bajorans. I have no idea why.
- In the last promo for Battlestar Galactica, did the guy in the black uniform with red piping remind anyone of a Peacekeeper?
- Okay, so Daniel's amnesia served basically no purpose to the story except for a few lines, since he'd basically remembered everything important by the end. That was...useless.
- Awww...g'bye, Jonas. *sniff*
Nice eps. Exciting, relatively interesting, funny... Kind of an "eh" reaction to the whole thing, though...not really sure why. Nothing reached up and grabbed me by the throat like it does when I'm watching the Monday marathons, though. It's entirely possible that I could just be OD-ing on this show, and anything would seem "eh" by this point.
