I've seen that kind of thing before. It usually means there will be a storm sometime in the next day. (It always happens when there will be a week of tornadoes. At least, around here.)

I thought the adage was "Red sky at night, sailors' delight; red sky at morning, sailors take warning," but perhaps I'm mistaken. I've seen colorful skies at home, but never one this orange.

We always get green skies in the summer in Nashville. Usually they just presage bad thunderstorms, but tornadoes as well, often.
