Fandom glut
Jul. 15th, 2005 10:48 amMy God, it's like uber-fandom weekend. SG-1, SGA, BSG, and HP6 all in the space of 24 hours. If I were still as excited about Harry Potter as I was a few years ago, I think I might be in serious danger of blowing up.
As it is, though, I'm definitely in full-time squee mode for BSG and Atlantis, considerably less so for SG-1 (they wore out their welcome with me last season, and much as I love the addition of Certain Persons, that can only go so far), and then kind of, "Oh, yeah, HP's coming out. I should read that at some point." If I wanted a library copy, I should've requested it about five years ago, so I think I'll just get it at some point soon from somewhere where it's some big percentage off.

In other news, StreamingSoundtracks.com is reading my mind via iTunes Radio. I'm going through all my 4,000 photos from this year looking for somewhere between 300 and 500 to put in a scrapbook. (Even at 10 cents a print from this place, more gets expensive real fast. Also, it'll be all my patience and attention span can do to carry me through that many.) Just as I get to ones from our Christmas party, that syrupy John Williams music from Home Alone starts playing. It was eerie. And then it was playing something from Amelie as I got to Paris. (It was also playing the HP3 soundtrack on repeat all afternoon. Hee.)
