Dress gleeeeee!
Aug. 17th, 2005 08:51 pmI am Kaylee Frye.
You know those summery cotton "swing dresses" that were rather popular this year, with the waist actually, like, fitted and the skirt very full and starched a bit? That style totally hides every single one of my figure flaws, and they are SO CUTE, and I finally found one in my size for a reasonable price, and yay. It's white and red and pink, which is a color I never wear, and it looks way more cute than anything I wear has a right to look. I love it. I feel like Kaylee in "Shindig," except I'm not at a big society ball right at the moment. But I must wear this for ballroom's swing dance. (We are having one this year, right?) Not to mention just around and about, 'cause it's comfy and not so dressy that I would feel weird wearing it outside of a dance/party.
Anyway. Dress glee!

You are always allowed to say that. :)

Generally it is. Especially when it gets late and we dispense with the swing altogether and start doing really long conga lines all around Gund Ballroom...

And man...I miss dancing with you and the rest of the Scapers!

Date: 2005-08-18 11:48 pm (UTC)It's a fun time. Lots of music and food and stuff, all paid for by the school! (Well, okay, by our student activities fees, but whatever. We still get cash from student finance to go out and buy chips and coke and pizza with.)
And man...I miss dancing with you and the rest of the Scapers!
I know!

Date: 2005-08-19 05:21 am (UTC)No, really, those cabins have huge common rooms. We could turn one of them into a ballroom easily. Or just break out into random dancing for no reason, dodging furniture and Scapers...

Date: 2005-08-20 05:54 am (UTC)But I'll bet we could also set up some decent music and get people going. Or find someplace near the cabin to go out and scare the public...

Um...if there's any trips to dance clubs in Gatlinburg, count me out. Line dancing is so not my thing. *backs away slowly*
