- Someone tell me I wasn't the only one having flashbacks to LOTR with the whole glowy-staff-sends-people-flying-and-emits-big-light thing.

- And to continue the LOTR parallels, Nerus is Denethor.
- I know the rest of you hate it, but I lovelovelove Sam's hair this season. I'm sure it takes five million products to get it looking that way and is totally not something the character would ever make time to wear, but I think it's pretty.

- "This is a military vessel." / "I know, darling, I've stolen it before." Best line of the night, right there. Tell me again why Vala had to leave?

- Aw, Teyla shepherds Ronon off to bed. Cute! If they keep that up, I may start shipping for them because they actually have chemistry rather than because I want J-Faux far, far away from John.
- Rodney, you are not the one-man reincarnation of the Manhattan Project.

- *backtracks* So all this physics stuff, such as ZPMs stealing "vacuum energy" (never mind the oxymoron implicit in that turn of phrase) from other universes...say, those Ancients were meanies! *slaps wrists*

- More and more I like the Teyla/Ronon partnership...
- I loved the way they showed the fallout of McKay's little ego trip, with just a few phrases overheard by the returning team members. Very nice.
- Oooooh, burn. Nice that they didn't do all-is-forgiven between Rodney and John right away, too. Maybe we'll see repercussions next week?
BSG
- Well, don't they just have a prophecy about everything.
- Aw, the Kara/Lee reunion is so touching...and yet so, so awkward.
- *gape* Damn. Roslin's evil.
- Aw, Adama really is everyone's daddy!
- So is this a metaphysical "path" to Athena's tomb or somethin'? Oh, wait, nope. Never mind.
- Boomer, please don't turn into Counselor Troi. Thanks.
- Aaaaaand Kara and Lee are in THIRD GRADE. Aw.
- *winces at Roslin's humidified hair*
- Is that a cross on the grave? Is this related to Greek mythology in some way?
- That song that's hummed over the overhead shot of Adama standing in the corridor is familiar. Anyone recognize it?
- Bringing the family back together, eh? Why do I get the feeling it's less of a happy reunion at the airport and more of a Daddy's-gonna-whup-your-ass-when-he-gets-home kind of deal?
