Went to Burgess Falls with family. Took pretty pictures. Realized that a heat index of 102F is not conducive to hiking. Put the "fall" in "Burgess Falls" on the way back down the trail. Scraped up leg, but thankfully did not fall face-first down the sheer forty-foot drop next to the trail. Now have big scrape marks all down outside of right leg and big cut over knee. Ah, well.

Way too tired for personal pronouns at the moment.

Those stone lions were nifty (there was another one facing the opposite direction; I don't remember if I got a picture of both of them). I love the expression on their faces.
