We have the best darn photogenic campus in the world! (And I say that knowing the Monument to Concrete that is the Exeter Uni campus, so...yeah. I'm ridiculously glad to be back here among pretty buildings.)
Hmm..the "Ohio is weird" caption on that pic is interesting. Probably what happens is that if it snows more than 2" the snow plows will need to get access to that street to get to other places so they can clear the snow so any cars parked on the street will hinder the emergency vehicles.
Yeah, that is what it means (as a Northerner explained to me my freshman year when I saw that sign and went "whaaaa?"). I wasn't so much commenting on the way they deal with snowplows as the fact that it snows often enough and in large enough amounts that that kind of sign would be necessary. :)
(P.S. Their snowplows? Waaaaaay better than my state's. Nashville has, like, two. For the entire city. Everything shuts down for less than an inch of snow.)
