Bleah.
I think I'm finally on my way back to being human again after spending all day yesterday as a grouchy, whimpering ball of owie surrounded by heating pads and ibuprofen.
I hear there are prescription pills for that kind of thing. I shall have to look into getting some when I go home.
So, yeah. Good thing I bailed out of OSU earlier this week, 'cause if I hadn't, I would've had to bail out around 5 AM yesterday morning, which would've made a lot of people very mad at me, I'm sure.
Couldn't bring myself to do work (or go to lunch, the post office, or basically anywhere until around 5 PM) yesterday, so I read JAG fanfic. Someone's avatar managed to, ah, inspire this. Keep in mind that I've never watched the show, and don't really have any plans to do so. But shipping? Oh, yeah. Auuugh.
I did end up going to dinner with Whitney, Ellen, and Chandra. We sat out on Peirce lawn and listened to one of the springfest bands, Tequila Donkey Project, and I bought a blue t-shirt that has a cornstalk printed in white with "kenyon" under it. Snerk.
Then we ended up in a practice room in Storer with our Verdi music so we could hear kind of what it'll sound like when we put the choir and orchestra together. Okay, so all we had was a first soprano (moi), a second soprano (Chandra), a violin (Whitney) and a bassoon (Ellen), but we sort of got an idea.
And then I went back to my room and pitied myself some more. Now I have to do work. Sigh.
