Cupid rambling

I've hit the Joe Flanigan episodes of Cupid, and it is good.
I loved how this episode went from hilarious at the dance club, to unexpectedly sweet when Claire was obviously falling for Alex (didn't expect to like that!), to touching between Nick and Heidi (them sitting on her front stoop still be-costumed in the early morning light was just a lovely shot), and then to really quite sad during the reveal of Trevor watching Claire and Alex go into her apartment and him walking sort of bittersweetly dejected down the sidewalk. Jeremy Piven is awesome. There's a gentleness to this series that I really like: it can have surprising twists and turns, but they sort of sneak up on you and seep into your bones over a period of time, rather than hitting you all at once.
Also, this is the second episode in a row where a kid totally has Trevor's number in regards to Claire. Hee!
Only have nine episodes left. I'll have to ration them over break.
...
Yeah, right. Marathon!
