Love's labours lost
Dec. 23rd, 2005 11:38 pmWell, I watched the last new-to-me episode of Cupid tonight. Alas. Grrr, ABC. Grrrr.
Nice try with the swing dancing, guys, I really do appreciate the inclusion, but I've seen more lively dancing when we teach our newbies the basic during the first week of September. This was East Coast Swing with all the cool bits taken out. What the hell kind of underarm turn was that? And sugar walks, only more mincing and upright? C'mon. At least there could've been more than one swing song...the one at the end barely qualified, but the first one? Was a Foxtrot. The second one? Was undanceable.
Although I so called Trevor and Claire doing the contest together (not that it was, y'know, hard or anything), and actually seeing it made my little heart go pitty-pat. Awwww.
And y'know, if a few technical details about social dancing are the biggest complaints I have about this series as a whole...well, that's just awesome. I need to go watch the whole thing again, I think. Which may possibly mean more individualized episode ramblings. Ooooh, aaaaah.
_godoflove needs more linkage, I think. Go! View the wonder!
