This is going to come out of the blue, and I realize that, and if I got a comment like this on my journal I would probably freak out.
HOWEVER: I was just looking at people on Livejournal with "Kenyon College" as an interest, and I stumbled upon you. It was a little creepy -- in the good way! -- because
A) I'll be attending Kenyon in the fall, B) I'm planning on majoring in English, and possibly having a Creative Writing concentration, C) I'm hoping to try the Exeter program in my junior year, and D) I'm in fandom as well. Maybe this doesn't seem as amazing to you as it does to me, but I don't know many people in fandom unless I've met them, well, through fandom.
D'you mind if I friend you? I understand if you're not comfortable with it; as I said, I would be leery of a random stranger popping up on my journal like this.
