I just got back from walking the dogs (as is my wont around this time of day), and this time, I was wishing for a jacket. It's chilly out! Well, okay. It's 78F and cloudy and breezy out. Whatever, chilly. Aw, fall's happening again. The leaves started turning a couple weeks ago. And the days are shortening, of course...because Nashville's about 45 minutes west of the line between the Eastern and Central time zones, we get everything early--sunrise, noon, sunset. I'd prefer it the other way around.

How strange to be here for fall, and not at Kenyon. That hasn't happened in a while.¹

Do you happen to have plans for tomorrow night? Several friends are getting together for Shakespeare in the Park tomorrow night for my friend Christi's birthday, and she said that if we knew anyone else who'd like to come hang out we could invite them, and I know that you'd said something about getting together for that this year.

Probably it's just as well, as the bugs have been eating me ALIVE this year. I'd probably be one big welt after being outside for all of Macbeth.

Wow--I'd normally look at those three words together and raise an eyebrow, but that was pretty good!

It didn't even hit 70 here today, what with Ernesto making everything cool and rainy. I'm sort of ready for fall (tired of being hot all the time), but mostly not. Sigh.

I love fall. It's my favorite season. Not that it lasts long here, or will be here for another month, but still.

It's not really here yet -- but the temperature is late November/early December to me.

Very amusing fic, yeah, and quite amusing in places.

I think the moment that really got me is where Peri says or suggests that she's lost friends before after sleeping with them. With the whole focus on her assets and attire from the beginning (which is of course very in keeping with her episodes)...it paints an interesting and to me slightly sad picture of a girl who's always had some of her self-esteem wrapped up in her attractiveness, perhaps. Not sure that's how I choose to think of Peri (and it fits far too well with the disturbing fan theory out there about her relationship with her stepdad), but it's well-played and thoughtful, and adds intriguing layers to her relationship with Six.

Of course, I also half-ship Five and Peri myself...

Interesting theory. As I still have yet to see any of her episodes, I don't really have any theories about her...but your reading of the implications of this fic seems sound.
