Look what showed up in the yard this evening.

Aren't her eyes pretty? They're more bluey-green in real life than in the photo. Really pretty cat eyes.

I think she belongs to the neighbors down the street; at any rate, I've seen a similar-looking black cat down there before. She's very friendly. I sat down, and you could see in her eyes that she was immediately thinking, "Oooh, a lap!" And then she fell asleep there. Aw.
