icepixieBest part, bar none: The Pornstache has LEFT THE BUILDING. Thank you, God. There was no better moment. (Although Kasey turning out to be Random Mom's kid comes close. Yay, no more creepy! Although who wants to bet that Kara's going to start bugging Anders about having a kid?)
But the effects were really good, too. Actually, no, they were AWESOME. I want to see this on a movie screen. Loved the vipers flying through planetary atmosphere, and Galactica nearly crashlanding before jumping with a sonic boom. The space battle between the various Cylon ships and Pegasus/Galactica was riveting. Not to mention ultra-cool. Go, CGI folks.
ZOMG, Tigh killed Ellen. I'm trying to work up some outrage or something here, and it's not really happening. Surprise, maybe, I could go with, though.
Did anyone else find Lee's "It's an honor to have served with you, and I'm proud to call you my wife" to Dee really unconvincing? Their kiss afterwards wasn't much better. Maybe he was just choked up with emotion or something.
Hallelujah, they're off the planet. Yee-haw! And now we're back down to one Battlestar, which sucks for them. Oh, and Lucy Lawless Cylon has Hera. Whoops. Baltar and Six went with the other Cylons, right? Or have they struck out on their own, hanging out on the planet? (If so, OMG. I don't want another bifurcated storyline like we had when Helo and Boomer, and then Kara, were on Old Caprica INTERMINABLY in the first season.)

ETA: Oh, and Adama was totally shaving the 'stache because he knew he was gonna see his girlfriend soon, and Roslin doesn't like facial hair! *g*

Date: 2006-10-21 08:33 pm (UTC)I kinda blah-ed through the lee/dee things (should I watch it now, I'd simply fall asleep I'm afraid) and wondered if he'd now go visit the gym :) Also, I tried to be shocked to see Thigh poisoning Ellen, and I think i almost felt a bit sorry for them both, but I wasn't surprised that she died.
And now I'm off because I yawn so much I get tears in my eyes.
