(I was in Liechtenstein once. For approximately twenty minutes, as the train took me from Switzerland to Austria. Didn't even have a passport check.)

When we stopped in Vaduz, we could go to the tourism board, pay a few Swiss francs, and get our passport stamped. I think they did a check as we entered Austria, but not when we entered Liechtenstein. It was a nifty little country - we found postcards with a pic of the royal family, and they were all wearing jeans. I love this country.

I got my passport stamped for Austria on the train. I can't remember how I knew we were going through Liechtenstein; there was either an announcement on the train, or I saw a sign out the window. Possibly there was a stop there.
