Yeah, I just watched "Victoria's Secret" and "Letting Go." Ow. Owowowowowowow. Oh, the trauma.

Did I mention "ow"? 'Cause that was painful, particularly the second half of VS.

And now, thanks to this show, there's a significant chunk of the "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" album I won't be able to listen to for a good long time. Gah.

(In this case, I'm kind of unhappy I spoiled myself for these episodes--not that there was a way to avoid that, seeing as I'd heard about Victoria maybe seven or eight years ago, when all I knew about this show was that it involved some guy named Fraser whose name seemed to make it into half the fandoms I followed at the time--because if I didn't know what was to come, I might've spent the the first part without the overwhelming sense of impending doom. Then again, maybe not. That many candles is never a good sign.)

Oh man. Those episodes never stop being painful to watch. Beautiful, but painful. That was the first place I ever heard Sarah McLachlan songs, and I can't hear Possession without thinking of VS.

I knew nothing about Victoria's Secret. I just watched it when it aired here.

TORE ME APART. CRIED MY *EYES* OUT. Mom actually had to hold me ;D

I didn't know Sarah McLachlan before those eps. It totally made me a fan *g*.

...On the other hand, perhaps there were some advantages to being spoiled for the whole thing. At least I knew it ended...uh...not entirely unhappily. Er. Yes. :D

I was totally relaying events to my Mom, who's seen one episode of the show, as they happened on the screen. "She shot his dog!" "She framed him for murder and bank robbery!" "They came and arrested him!" "She's framing his friend for various crimes!" Etc. etc. I think it was amusing for her, anyway. ;)

Oh, god, I totally know how you feel. My Due South binge when I got my own season sets was put on hold for at least a week when I got to Victoria's Secret, because I knew it was just going to hurt. Again.
And even though I knew what was coming, it still hurt. Kinda makes me wonder if I bawled like a baby when the episode first aired, because I knew I'd seen it then, too.

I was thinking about skipping them and just watching them at the end, after I've watched all the seasons. (I gave in and ordered 3/4 yesterday.) But then I decided to be brave and watch it in order...
