Ooooh. Go here, and download "Down by the Sally Gardens." So pretty. I love these guys; college acapella that's more like a tiny men's choir than just renditions of pop songs. Yay. (Plus, you know, Yeats. Even if they have changed one of the verses.)

- "Doctor Longball," I loved. The doppelgangers were a hoot. The whole thing felt very X-Filesy (driving out to a small, weird town, associated weirdness with the doppelgangers, baseball...I think this aired the same year as "The Unnatural," come to think of it). Liked the focus on Welsh, too. Surprised it took this long to get to it, actually.
- And now RayK has his own classic car! This will at least put an end to him having a different car for, like, every episode. That was getting kind of weird.
- Oh, Ray. You make me want to give you a giant hug, and perhaps a teddy bear or five. (If you've seen "The Ladies' Man," you know what I mean.)
- "Mountie Sings the Blues" was actually a high point in the season, even if I did have to mute significant parts of it. (Can't stand country music. I grew up in Nashville; it's like a genetic thing if you live through your teenage years here.) OMG, Turnbull. BWAH! Love. And Frannie and Turnbull? HOW ADORKABLE IS THAT?!
- ...Tigh! With hair! Dude!
- Frannie, you, I love. Booooo to country music!
- "Santa Drives a Pickup Truck"? Oh, Paul Gross. You are almost preternaturally beautiful, an amazing actor, and not half-bad at writing quirky scripts. But please, for the love of all that is holy, STOP WRITING SONGS.
- "Calling Dr. Freud." *sigh* Thatcher really has been turned into a joke, hasn't she? I thought my eyes were going to roll right out of my head during her drunken scene in "Odds." Although she was used well in MStB. That opening scene, where she's ranting about having to provide security for Tracy Jenkins and how her command has always been dignified, then opens the door to Turnbull in full fanboy/cleaning mode was actually funny, as opposed to irritating. Loved her banging her head against the wall.
- Did enjoy Frannie's mistletoe trap, and how Bob kissed her when Fraser ran away. And then she tried to wipe it off. Heh.
- So, random guy wandering around, singing "Silent Night" at the end? Badly? Eh?
