In random other news, I bought the EP the new-old October Project put out, um, four years ago today. It's not bad. I don't like Marina Belica's voice as well as I did Mary Fahl's, but the music is similar to their old stuff and quite good.

YES, I saw it a while back. "The notorious Rankin Family" had me in tears. So did "Well, everything on Cape Breton is remote," and of course the hair gel, and "Norm," and there was even a tiny bit of squee when "Welsh" suggested "Meg Thatcher from the Canadian Consulate."
