Well, that was...about as lame as all the other episodes 4-and-5 two-parters. Maybe slightly less so than the first one, because few things can top farting aliens for lameness.
Daleks are not nearly as scary when they don't have the computerized voice. Human!Dalek was just kind of goofy.
I did like Tallulah, and her and Martha being all competent. Competency is sexy, y'all.
Mooning over the Doctor is not sexy at all. It is BORING. Can we stop, please? And stop with the constant "Rose was awesome and you'll never be as cool!"? It grates.
So Frank is "from Tennessee." Would that be Tennessee, Yorkshire, or Tennessee, Texas? (Actually, I've heard worse accents purporting to be from the state. This one wasn't as bad as it could've been. And I did like Frank as a character. Too bad he couldn't have hung around; if they must attach Martha to someone, he'd be a better choice!)
One Dalek remains! And just like the last time we saw "the last of the Daleks," I don't believe that for one moment.
Did the setting seem somewhat...sanitized...to anyone else? For Hoovervillians, all the characters seemed awfully clean. And well-spoken. And well-fed. Forgive me; I'm used to the dust and bad grammar of Carnivale.
