I TOTALLY JUST HIT 10,000 WORDS ON MY FIC.

I know, I know. This is nothing to some of you, but my writing tends to come in stanzas, so you can see how big word counts haven't really been a part of my life up to this point.¹

I think I have about 3,000 words to go before I hit the end. Maybe 5,000. Close enough that I can taste it, anyway.

¹Well, except for this one unfinished DS9 fic that I got 40,000 words on when I was fourteen, but since that will never, ever be completed, because it is awful, I'm not counting it. This? This actually will be completed, even if every remaining word requires the equivalent of getting blood from a turnip.

Bwah! Yeah, at a certain point in the show, you just had to admit, "Okay, no, Julian and Jadzia WOULD NEVER WORK."

...I never admitted that. I still think it was a wasted opportunity. Bah, Paramount.

(I forget, didn't Julian and Ezri end up together? Because she was immature and spastic enough for that to actually work...)

They did, which I was against. But whatever. (I still can only see Nicole deBoer as Yuna from ~~I Was a Teenage Clone...in Space!~~ Mission Genesis, Skiffy's first original program. It lasted, unsurprisingly, all of thirteen half-hour episodes.)

Hijinks ahoy! (Where IS that, anyway? *taps foot*)

Meeehh! I have about two and a half scenes to go. I think I can get a draft done by Monday, and then spend part of next week revising before shipping it off.
