Did anyone else download the free iTunes single this week and wonder for a moment if someone had wandered back to 1987 and slipped the members of The Cure some Prozac, then returned the results to 2007?

I downloaded it but hadn't actually listened to the song until I read this post.

I think that's a pretty accurate assessment.

Yeah, I kind of expect to see men in eyeliner on the album cover.

I like it, though. Not enough to look at the rest of the album, but this is one of the better free songs, IMO.

I hadn't downloaded it until I saw your post, but there certainly is something very 1985 or so about it, isn't there? Especially that thingummy at the beginning. That's straight off someone's old Roland keyboard...
