Went to the Open Barn today and watched horses run around and jump over stuff. It was fun. Kinda stinky, but fun, and I got to see Chandra do her drill team thing. Interestingly enough, lots of professors were there, including my advisor. Hmmm. Hey, y'all coulda come to our dance, too! Support student organizations equally and all that!

The Take Back the Night Carnival is tonight. I'm ridiculously excited by the prospect of free kettle corn and moon walking (not the Michael Jackson business...this is that inflated trampoline-thing for kids at fairs and stuff). Mmmm. there's also free "mocktails," which, since they've been so heavily advertised, I'm assuming are good.

But first I have to read more Rob Roy. Which is suprisingly good, actually. This is something I'd actually read on my own. I should look into Waverley and Ivanhoe and all that this summer...
