Sufjan Stevens is severely hit-or-miss for me. Of the twenty-odd songs I've heard by him, I've loved about a quarter, liked another third, and really disliked the rest. I love the more sorta-folky, singer/songwriter stuff like this or "Casimir Pulaski Day," but I just don't get his more experimental stuff. I try, but I guess I'm just too bourgeois. *g*

I just recently started getting into Sufjan Stevens; turns out he appeals to the hippy-folk who like to volunteer, so he's constantly being played around me.

Yeah, he rather does. I'm surprised I managed to get almost all the way through Kenyon without hearing about him, actually.

I like the song you mentioned, but my favorite is "Chicago."

I just listened to that, and it's pretty awesome. I also enjoy "They Are Night Zombies!! They Are Neighbors! They Have Come Back from the Dead!! Ahhhhh!!"
