I had wanted to study abroad again given the wonderful time I had on exchange. As for why I picked Australia specifically, there were a multitude of reasons: I didn't think I would get there any other way, it was much cheaper than my home university (or anywhere in Europe) so I would get to go for a year, and it would be an adventure, among others. Being English-speaking and having gorgeous weather also helped.
