School daze
Mar. 28th, 2008 08:38 pmHuh. I found out from Wikipedia that parts of this music video were filmed at my high school, and what do you know, those are definitely the over-varnished wooden floors (the building is more than 150 years old) and terrifically blue lockers I remember. Also, the library and Mr. Hornaday's former chemistry classroom make appearances. And if that chick is supposed to be a high school student, she has an amazing bedroom.
I recommend turning the sound off, as it's gag-inducing country music.

Date: 2008-03-29 10:04 pm (UTC)It takes a while to get going, but when it does, it's quite good. It's got time travel and cryogenics, and also a cat. Oh, and a mildly creepy bit at the end where the main character (~thirty years old) is kind of interested in an eleven-year-old girl, whom he marries later when the magic of cryogenics has reduced their age difference to ten years. BUT ANYWAY.
I liked it aside from that weirdness. It had a sort-of mystery, and enough action and gadgets to keep me interested. (And apparently Heinlein predicted the Roomba? And AutoCAD software? And lots of other robotic doohickeys? It was pretty nifty, actually.)
