ASDJKL:WICKHNC'PNWDFED1C!!!11!!1!!!! SO MUCH BETTER THAN LAST WEEK!

I sniffled a bit at the end, I admit. It was so PERFECT! Understated and private yet still incredibly meaningful and so very THEM. LOVE. I am awash in squee right now.

Alas, Baltar didn't die. I was SO hoping he would; I've been waiting for that particular moment, where Laura finds out his first big mistake and kills him ded, for four years now. But perhaps some things were not meant to be. And he is sort of interesting with the new messiah deal now. But DAMN, I was chanting, "Kill him, kill him!" through a good chunk of the episode.

Also, D'ANNA, YAY! I love me some D'Anna. Kind of figured she wouldn't bust out with the names of the final five--and I highly doubt we're going to find out the fifth next week--but she's quite possibly my favorite Cylon anyway, so that's okay. I do think we can pretty much cross Laura off the list entirely, though, after that little exchange between them. (Hee.) But, oh, she and everyone else is really gonna regret screwing over the Cylon allies. Really, really regret. Ow.

- Heh. I love Roslin's "Okay, this is freaky" expression at the beginning of that jump/dream thing.

-And she has her real hair back! Oh, please let this be a sign of things to come. That wig is awful.

- Heh. Everyone ignores Baltar. Quite rightly, too.

- So...Elosha is Jimminy Cricket? It's nice to see her again, anyway.

- Aw, Helo and Whatshername-Eight working together. And then it turns creepy. But still aww. That particular Eight is so perfectly pathetic...I just want to hug her and give her a cookie.

- Ah, the book again. Yay for literary lovers.

- "I've gotta say you're a little full of myself." Heh.

- The space scenes were AWESOME. Loved the "carpool." Kudos to the CGI folks!

- Ah, yes, Baltar the Cylon Marxist. Why do I get the feeling this is precisely the wrong thing to be doing right now?

- Whoa, Laura, you're sounding mucousy there. And robotic. *hugs gently* *gives magical halfbreed blood transfusion*

- Er. Are Baltar's arms spread out there on that table? Are we back to the Jesus references?

- Yeah, I rolled my eyes at "Just love someone" (Laura has FAR more problems than that's gonna solve!), but it did lead to the scene of happy, so I can deal.

- Hmmm. The ring isn't foreshadowing, is it? 'Cause that would be pretty awesome.

-Dude, Adama. It's taken you however many days to get only halfway through the book? Srsly? It's not like you have anything else to do...

- SQUEEEEE. That's a particularly nice variation of the Adama/Roslin Waltz, too.

Definitely watching the 11 o'clock showing tonight.

*

Hmmm...I caught the preview for DW, and I see that they're heading to the 1920s*. And meeting Agatha Christie. I, er, might have to give Rusty and his misogyny some viewing time next week. Maybe.

* They're traveling in time? In a time machine? Will wonders never cease?!

Not reading, not reading. Stupid idiotic work kept me busy until after 10 last night, so I'm now...obtaining it...from other sources. Will watch it tonight, when I'm done with more work. Stupid packing. Stupid grad school, making me miss my favorite show! At least the first line of your post (which was all I read) gives me something to look forward to.

Off to work again (yes, less than 12 hours after I left).
