Emmy stuff
Jul. 17th, 2008 02:17 pmI checked the Emmy nominations for mention of the two shows I actually watch, and was fairly pleased, though not totally. Mary McDonnell got screwed again, because my god, the woman needs an Emmy like yesterday. However, BSG did get a Best Writing nod, and several of the technical categories.
Pushing Daisies fared better--Lee Pace was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series (question: It's more comedy than drama? Since when?), although his eyebrows, sadly, were not. I guess they'll just have to share. Kristin Chenoweth got a nomination for Best Supporting Actress, and the show got a writing nod. Oh, and it was nominated in practically every art-direction-type category--hairstyling, makeup, costuming, etc. Big surprise. :D
Huh. It's novel, actually having watched two shows that got nominations. Usually that doesn't happen.
