It's not so much that I have patience as that I want my tea to taste like something besides water. (Of course, I grew up on iced tea that steeps upwards of two hours before we take the teabags out. My tastes may be skewed.) I add probably more sugar than is good for me (something like four teaspoons to a cup) and a dash of milk.
