Well, I only have Ohio, but I adore it.

That's one I don't have, although I do have two or three songs from it. I think the only full albums I have are DP and the Christmas album from last year, plus random tracks from Discount Fireworks and Good Dog Bad Dog.

I was sadly not a fan of what I heard from the latest album. They went all jazzy and bluesy, rather than folky.

Man, too bad they used it in AN AWFUL EPISODE. (Maybe it's just that I hate every single terminally-ill-child character on tv now because they can never compare to that heart-transplant Wish-A-Wish Foundation kid from Pushing Daisies...)

I thought the case in that one was actually rather well thought-out; one of their more interesting ones. The kid wasn't bad either, although she did seem a little more impressed by the projection of her image on the wall than it really warranted. (My mom has a machine that does the same thing. It cost twenty bucks at Michael's.)

Although true, no one can compare with the bitter heart-transplant kid.

The tissue bank plot was nifty, but the overwhelming sap they drenched that poor girl in... And the "oooooh, I could never use icky computers because I'm a beautiful flower and computers are for BOYS!" angle made me want to reach for an eye-spork. And has no one ever heard of AIR TRAVEL?? Just pop that girl on a plane to the Louvre! FBI bigwigs can afford plane tickets for their dying kids! It's not exactly an impossible dream! Besides, an arty kid wouldn't care about the basic architecture of the museum so much as, you, know, the actual *paintings* that Angela's holodeck seemed to largely ignore...

I...missed that angle. I thought she just preferred messing around with pastels to messing about with computers.

Besides, an arty kid wouldn't care about the basic architecture of the museum so much as, you, know, the actual *paintings* that Angela's holodeck seemed to largely ignore...

Mmm. Although the architecture is actually the most awesome part of the museum, IMO. (And I could see the paintings well enough to recognize at least one--The Raft of the Medusa--and have a couple others niggle at me. It was probably better in VR.)

One thing that that episode, among many others, made me question is why Angela is considered an artist and not a computer programmer, because her computer stuff is a hell of a lot better than her sketches.

Well, the treatment they tried failed, right? They were out of options? Sounds like the combat was pretty much over by that point. Call in the Wish-A-Wish lady!
