I'd have to disagree there. At least in a stupid costume, most of the people you harass are happy to see you. (It is Disney, after all.) You wouldn't feel like you were actively making other people's lives hell.

But you have to deal with CHILDREN. All day long. CHILDREN. Dancing with children, talking with children, getting their kiddy germs all over you...oh dear god, it's like a living nightmare.

Indeed. I mostly get the whole metaphysical "everyone's ageless so it's not creepy" take in the first link, but at odd moments, the fact that she's like ten and he's, uh, not comes back to haunt me.
