Brief Bones comments
Dec. 11th, 2008 09:32 pmI believe this was S3, episodes 4-7.
- Sweets is annoying as hell. Talk about "that guy." (And...doctorate at 22? Perhaps there should be some plausibility-checking on this show...) I was somewhat amused at the "coffee" convo, though.
- OMG Mary Anne Marie! Twice in one week! I should learn that actress's name...
- Hee, Hodgins loves compost.
- I loved the female PI. Hilaaaarious.
- Soooo...the Cam-fooling-her-father-and-fighting-with-her-sister was entirely manufactured for no apparent purpose? What the hell was that, anyway? I would like to see character development for her, but only if it makes sense. (Although the first part of that plot definitely reminded me of the second season Northern Exposure episode "All Is Vanity," where Maggie ropes Joel into pretending to be her boyfriend for her father's benefit. That was the only pleasant aspect of it.)
- Uh. Since when does Brennan get to talk to the victim's family all alone? This strikes me as foolhardy. And pehaps a prelude to them running out of the room in tears.
- UM. Angela, there is no way you got a fully 3-D game from a floppy from 1987 that had been covered in organic goo for twenty years. NO WAY. (That kind of game wouldn't have even fit on one of the old 5.25" floppies, would it? I seem to remember even Oregon Trail taking several discs to play...) This might be up there with interviewing-a-suspect-on-the-Vomit Comet in the "most unbelieveable" stakes.
- I'm sure that personal conversation in the diner at the end of things just had to be conducted with your faces two inches from each other's... *g* Awww. And I can just see Brennan going through a phase where she wanted to be popular and failed miserably at it.
- Angela and Hodgins continue to be utterly adorable. I hope they finally get to get married soon.
