* Jumped for joy when Jacob said something along the lines of the supersoldier being developed as a response to the recent Jaffa uprising. Hooray for galactic politics and results and consequences of past episodes!

* "El-yo"? *bangs head against wall* Daniel. You speak 23 languages. This is one of the more simple rules of Spanish pronounciation. "Ello" is pronounced "a-yo," with a long "a". Double l's are a "yuh" sound, not an "el" and a "yuh". This drove me absolutely bonkers when I was still taking Spanish and seemingly half the class pronounced words with ll the wrong way.

* In the same vein, anyone else think the tour guide's accent kinda came and went? Hmmm.

* Scruffy!Daniel is so not pretty.

* Dude, Sam is so gonna take command of SG-1 one day.

* Heh. Jack's doing the Vulcan greeting hand-thing. (There's a term for this. I cannot for the life of me remember it at the moment.)

Overall: Not bad. Not bad at all. Two interesting stories executed competently enough to make me wail at the thought of waiting until January (JANUARY!) for the resolution. I admit to a little skepticism about the supersoldiers, 'cause if you stack the odds too high against Our Heroes (first Go'auld, then Replicators, now supersoldiers), all those near-misses and what will probably end up being eventual victory start seeming mighty contrived. The fountain of youth concept is mildly interesting, and it was sort of neat to see Daniel leading a group and having to kind of take on Jack's role when he's talking to his and Lee's captors. Don't think I'll ever be such a huge fan of Daniel-based plots, though. *shrug*
