Yaaaaay! I got a job at the online writing center for next year! I get to read and comment on papers that people post on the message board. I also have to sub for people in the physical location of the writing center in the library if they can't make it on a particular night. It's not much work, and it's only minimum wage for the few hours a week that I'll work, but it's money and a job! Yay! And I get to be one of the people regularly in the library my senior year (or junior year if I don't go abroad/only go abroad for a semester...but I'm thinking I'll be gone all year).

Hee. And this was one of those things where I turned in the application on the last day, didn't really expect to get it, wouldn't have been too upset if it hadn't happened...but now that I did get it, it's totally made my day. :-)

In other news, after running around campus all day yesterday, I've decided that there's definitely an advantage to living south. Everything I have to run around to, such as the library, classrooms, practice rooms in Storer, etc. etc., is closer when you live south. Yes, it's louder, and nothing except the Tafts are air conditioned, but I'm starting to find that location isn't as overrated as I once thought it was.
