Things I liked about this episode:
- Trevor having self-doubt. You know the gods tossing him out of Olympus had to have some psychological effect.
- The dogs.
- Trevor reading Claire's book.
- The ending scene where Claire doesn't catch the bouquet, and Trevor goes running after the woman who did.

Things I didn't like about this episode:
- Everything else.

Wow, that plot was...byzantine. The dad was a bit crazy. Actually, a lot crazy. That whole plot was crazy.

I don't know if I like people commenting on Trevor's and Claire's attraction or not. I'm leaning towards not, because, well, first of all, they don't really have any at the moment as far as I can tell; they're just expected to, so people comment. Also, I didn't like the in-your-faceness of it. There was a slower build in 1.0.

I am so, so not buying Trevor as Cupid or as a mental patient. Not at all. Yeah, he makes some throwaway references to Mount Olympus and beads and whatnot, but really? He and Claire could be regular humans who open up a matchmaking service and it would make no difference to the show.

Related to that, although I still like the idea of them working together, if they work together in every episode, then, uh, what is the conflict between their ideas of love again? Yeah.

Trevor reading Claire's book.

That actually was a nice touch. But he should've been writing snarky rejoinders in the margins, then gifting it to her solemnly as advice from a god...not saying it's good!

Yeah, kinda with you. Trevor's still a puppy dog. Not crazy. Not god-like. Just kinda there.

I miss the conflict.
