Bones watchers! Answer me this important question: last night's episode. Should I watch it and mock heavily, or will it just fill me with rage? Inquiring minds want to know!

Um. Um.

You... kind of need to watch it? Except... don't expect a real tv show. Expect fanfic. Because that's what it is. It takes certain canon stuff, like, you know, character, and throws it out the window, but then from that starting premise, things follow pretty rationally. The weird thing is, I haven't enjoyed a Bones episode that much since... last season, at least. There is PRIME MOCKERY to be had. It is excellent alt!universe crackfic. Just don't go in there expecting dignity. (Then again, this is Bones we're talking about.)

Oh, and the end is good, because it starts to resolve a long-standing plot arc unrelated to B/B shenanigans.

(Uh, my enjoyment of the episode may have been helped by me having some leftover gifted beer in my fridge that I really needed to get rid of. This was a perfect opportunity. I saw Hulu's synopsis (and your warning) and thought, "Well. I can't do this sober.")

Given the ranting Jodie did during the episode and through most of SPN I would say just watch the last two minutes of the ep. I think the baby thing is a non issue now.
