Note to self: no more on the overcommittment. Days like today will not happen again. The three T/Th classes in a row are bad enough; adding writing center orientation and ballroom officers' meeting on to that was so not cool. Thank god that was only this one day and won't happen again.

Now that I have iTunes 4, and a good number of the Mac users on campus do as well, I've discovered the joys of listening to other people's playlists over the network. Woke myself up this morning with The Clash, and unfortunately got "London Calling" stuck in my head for the entire day. But it was still good.

And now I have ballroom practice (social tonight) in an hour. Just finished the poster design for our swing/salsa dance this Friday, which I hopefully won't be too dead to attend. Must go to print shop tomorrow and get posters printed up.

Date: 2003-09-02 04:52 pm (UTC)I also have three T/Th classes in a row, but somehow they're not that bad. Though they happen to be classes that I love so I guess that helps. *g*

Date: 2003-09-02 07:56 pm (UTC)Hee. Have liked The Clash for a few years now, but the only song of theirs I have is "Should I Stay or Should I Go." Must buy CDs. *coughcoughKenstercough*
Now I'm gonna have to make you up a mix cd of your very own. And tres cool about the network playlist thing, that's freaking awesome.
It is. Last year we could get playlists from people in other dorms, but now it appears to only work within buildings. Maybe once all the dorms get back online and LBIS isn't just connecting individual buildings, it'll change.

Oh, the morning and the late afternoon classes rock on all sorts of levels. The middle one is poetry, and should rock, but is currently not really doing so well. Should get better, though. It's not that I don't like the classes, it's just that I'm down south from 9 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon and I'm completely not used to that.
